The Boyne Valley comes alive with Christmas spirit in late November and December, offering a wonderful mix of Christmas markets perfect for a winter day out.
Start in Oldbridge House as they host their much-loved Christmas Fair (29th–30th November), set against scenic parkland with artisan stalls, local food, and seasonal music.
December brings even more festive charm, beginning with Santa Paws at Sage & Stone (7th December), a family-friendly favourite where pets can meet Santa and enjoy a fun, lively market.
Mid-month, The Cottage Market in Drogheda (13th–14th December) takes over Scotch Hall with unique gifts, artisan produce, live music, and creative workshops.
Finally, round off your Christmas market trail at the Sonairte Christmas Market (14th December), an eco-themed celebration filled with handmade crafts, local treats, and kids’ activities in the cosy, sustainable setting of the Sonairte Eco Centre.
These markets capture the heart of the season with local makers, festive flavours, and plenty of holiday cheer.
