How to Book The Barn

  • Available start dates are green circles (Sorry no Sunday arrivals)
  • It is NOT possible to book more than one property in a single booking. To book more than one property please contact us and we will help you with this or you can book properties one by one.
  • To get a rate please select your preferred property, start date  (green circle) and then select the number of nights you wish to stay. All rates are in euro
  • We are pet friendly but all dogs must be booked in and are subject to a €30 fee per pet per stay. Max 2 dogs per property

Flexible cancellation terms

We offer flexible cancellation terms which removes the stress and worry from booking your holiday. Depending on the number of cottages booked, you can cancel up to 14 days before the check-in date (1-2 properties booked), 28 days (2-4 properties booked) and 42 days if 5 or more properties are booked.  If you need to cancel your stay at Decoy Country Cottages please contact us by email or by phone on +353 (0)85  8285871

We enjoyed our short break at Decoy cottages very much. The cottage was spotless and comfortable. Paula was welcoming, and helpful with information about the local area, places to eat, shop etc.
The facilities on site were brilliant for families, indoors and outside. Plenty to do in all weathers. We look forward to returning for a family celebration soon. The cottages are ideal for getting together while providing personal space for individual families and couples in the group.

We were getting renovations done to our home and stayed in Decoy Cottages for just under 3 weeks. It was excellent with finite attention to detail from the welcome basket to absolutely anything you would need in the kitchen. Bedding and towels with local soaps provided. The house was a home from home experience with plenty of space. The only minor let down was the TV in our house was not a smart one but saying that we got by just fine but it would have been nice to have this facility.

If coming to the area on holidays it is central to so many local attractions like Emerald Park, Newgrange, Dublin etc whilst staying in the country on a secure site with lots of family friendly facilities such as play areas and a fabulous BBQ area.

We had a fantastic family Christmas here last week! The accommodation was amazing with full cooking facilities and Christmas decorations! Even used the big green egg!!

Kids loved the tree house and collecting eggs from the chickens in the morning... Not to mention the other animals and trampoline

Very near Navan and other cultural activities plus not from the ferry port

The owners were very helpful and responsive and also left a lovely care package to start us off

The Decoy Cottages are such an amazing place to stay. The cottages are spacious with plenty of room for a large family (we had 13 people in our party). They give you everything you need for your stay to include a welcome basket with homemade bread, marmalade, fresh milk and eggs. The kitchen is very well stocked with all of the pots, pans and utensils needed, including dishwasher detergent, dish washing soap, paper towels, coffee for the espresso machine and regular ground coffee for the french press, spices, sugar, and more. The grounds have so much as well including a place to cook outside with tents and seating (it was too cold while we were there, but would be great in the spring and summer), a trampoline, animals, a tree house, and so much more. There is even a common area for use with a large TV, sectional couch, with movies and books, toys, a chalkboard for kids, and an upstairs with a foosball table and pool table. There is ample parking with a gated, private entrance, and local information is provided about grocery shopping, restaurants, and tourist things to do in the area. I can't say enough good things about the Decoy Country Cottages. If we are ever back in Ireland I would make it a point to stay here again. Thank you!
